DANI ALVES: BRAZIL LEAGUE CAREER REVEALED

Dani Alves has had a very good career and the Brazilian is widely seen by many as the best right-back of his generation. Apart from the right-back position, Dani Alves is also efficient in midfield. He started his career in his native Brazil with Bahia.

He spent a few years in the youth teams at Bahia before making his first team debut during a league game with Parana Clube. Dani Alves had a debut to remember in the colours of Bahia as he provided two assists and also won the penalty for the other goal in the 3-0 win over Parana Clube. The Brazilian international left Bahia to join Spanish team Sevilla on loan for the 2002/03 season before the move was made permanent upon his return from the 2003 FIFA u-20 World Cup tournament. Dani Alves won the Bronze Ball as Brazil won the tournament. Bronze Ball is the award for the third best player. He became a Sevilla player shortly after the tournament.The Brazilian right-back was at various clubs outside the league in Brazil before he returned in 2019.

Sao Paulo sealed a return to Brazil for Dani Alves when they signed him on a free transfer. He had spent 17 years at clubs like Sevilla, Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in between his time at Bahia and Sao Paulo. He signed for Sao Paulo as a free agent shortly after his contract with French champions PSG expired. Dani Alves has always been vocal about his love for Sao Paulo whom he had supported since he was a little boy. He had talked about playing for Sao Paulo on several occasions and his wish came through in August 2019 when his transfer was confirmed. He signed a three-year deal at the club until next year and he was handed the number 10 shirt.
