Daniel Alves wants Juventus to act fast or he will leave

Daniel Alves went through his debut season as a player of Juventus and it was a successful campaign as the Brazilian defender helped the Italian club in lifting their 6th consecutive Serie A title.

They also managed to reach the finals of the UEFA Champions League and Daniel Alves played a huge role in this feat as the experienced player was a regular starter in both competitions.

When the finals of the 2017 edition of the UEFA Champions League was over and Real Madrid defended their title as the champions of Europe, Daniel Alves took some time to voice his thoughts as the Brazilian player said:

´´We managed to score the equalizer, but in the second half Real Madrid simply played better. I think it was the approach we expected from them. The difference was we didn’t defend as well as we usually do. If we don’t keep the concentration and intensity levels at the top all the way through, Real Madrid can hurt you straight away with the talent at their disposal.”

The 34 year old right-back has a contract with Juventus which extends until the summer of 2018 but the veteran player has recently stated that he has a requested a 1 year contract extension which would keep him at the Italian club at least until 2019.

It´s rumored that Chelsea and Manchester City are both interested in signing Daniel Alves and they might actually have a realistic chance of securing his services if Juventus does not act fast and offer him a contract extension for 1 more year.

Even though Daniel Alves is 34 years old, he still continues to perform at a high level which is something that not many players are capable of doing but the veteran defender is a solid performer that a club can sign without having to dish out a large fee of cash.
