ALVES REJECTS MOURINHO SLUR

Barcelona’s victory of the Club World Cup created quite a stir of excitement among the Barcelona players and fans who were elated at the victory.

However, as always there have always been the peers trying to look for faults and find means to put the winning team down in shame. The same happened a few weeks back when Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho made critial comments about Barcelona.

However there was no stopping Dani Alves from proclaiming that Barcelona was one of the best teams of the world despite the criticism from other peer teams.

Dani Alves has been extremely happy because he put up an excellent performance which finally led to his team achieving the victory title for the cup defeating Santos in the final with a 4-0 score, with odds at close to evens to win, it was possibly the best football bet of the season. This has been their 13th trophy with coach Pep Guardiola.

The ecstatic feeling of Alves was not appreciated by everybody and this led to a few sarcastic comments by Real Madrid coach Mourinho, who mentioned that Barcelona did not have to have much to rejoice as they had only won two games in the competition.

This caused a little retaliation from Dani Alves who was clear to mention that statistics and figures would do the necessary talking when it comes to showing how many games Barcelona had won. He went on to say that envy is a bad thing and football should be appreciated and played with a competitive and sportsmanlike spirit.

Alves continued to say that Mourinho can shut up and that he will always consider the world club cup amongst his own personal achievements and he values it. Whether there is appreciation from the likes of Mourinho, he doesn’t really care.
